As part of a road tour of Texas this month, Nancy Stancill stopped at Brazos Bookstore in Houston to greet friends and sign copies of “Saving Texas.”

Mary Moody, who took the pictures at right, wrote to her Facebook friends, “I have such talented friends. Nancy Stancill, reporter extraordinaire and now published book author, has been in town showing off her new ‘baby,’ a murder mystery called Saving Texas. It’s the story of a newspaper reporter and political corruption. Here are a couple of shots (my phone is not my best camera!) showing Nancy at a book signing and reading at Houston’s Brazos Bookstore.”

Nancy wrote, “I was so lucky to have Mary and other longtime friends there.”
